Edward Bloor was born on October 12, 1950 in Trenton, New Jersey. He received his B.A. at Fordham University in 1973 and was a teacher in the Florida public schools 1983-1986. Beginning in 1986, Bloor became a senior editor at Harcourt Brace School Publishers. He has published a number of books for young adults; his first book Tangerine (1997) won the American Library Association Top Ten Best Books for Young Adults (1998), Edgar Allan Poe Award nomination for Best Young Adult Novel ...
